Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked questions about international imports.
How do you prevent items from going missing during customs clearance?
Before shipment, we send your customs broker photos and exact documentation of every piece of equipment and accessory to be shipped. This reduces the risk of discrepancies during inspection and prevents additional costs caused by missing items or last-minute clarifications.
Can I use my own customs broker?
In most Latin American countries, yes: we ship your order directly to the customs broker you already use, and you retain full control of your local import. The exception is Mexico, where our operating company, RFID & Energy, coordinates logistics and customs clearance directly.
What currency do you invoice in, and how is payment made?
We invoice in US dollars. We accept international bank transfer, and we work with the formal procurement processes required by public institutions and universities. If required, we can also invoice in Mexican pesos.
How long does an international shipment take?
The quotation, with customs classification included, is delivered in 5 to 7 business days. Delivery time varies by manufacturer and equipment availability.
Can you participate in public bidding processes?
Yes. We have the corporate and compliance documentation required by public universities and government entities for formal procurement processes.
